Visit to Chinese Academy of Sciences
Prof. dr. Damjana Drobne visited the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Xiamen: On August 31st 2016 she gave a lecture entitled “Nanoparticle internalistion, bioaccumulation and food chain transfer.” The visit was within the bilateral agreement of Inter-governmental Science & Technology Cooperation between China and Slovenia (BI-CN/14-15-006).
On September 1st 2016 she gave a lecture entitled “Update on nanoparticle safety: where we are and where we go?“

Bionanoteam is a research group at the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana.
Founded in 2008 by Prof. Damjana Drobne, Bionanoteam currently consists of 3 experienced researchers, 2 PhD candidates, 1 technical assistant and a number of graduate and undergraduate students. Damjana is a Professor of Zoology and Professor of Toxicology from University of Ljubljana. With over twenty years of research experience, she is the founder and principal investigator of Bionanoteam.
